2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the re-homing of abandoned, stray and feral kittens and cats in need of a loving home.
2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a registered Australian Charity and not-for-profit organisation run solely by volunteers in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Started in July 2011 with the purpose of re-homing desexed, vaccinated and micro-chipped cats and kittens to good homes. So far we have re-homed over 1200 cats and kittens.
New Fee Schedule for 2018
Due to rising vet costs there will be some changes to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue’s adoption fees beginning on the 1st of January 2018 (the first increase in over six years):
Adult & Mothers – $70
Kittens 6 – 12 month olds – $175
Kittens (up to 6 months) – $225
They also now include FREE microchip change of ownership, ensuring that if your pet ever gets lost, they are returned safely to you.
Bobby Bat Ears
Bobby Bat Ears and his two siblings were brought into Mount Waverley Animal Emergency Centre on February 27 and with their help, we were able to take them in. The kittens had to be bottle-fed every four hours.
Bobby Bat Ears has been adopted. To view current kittens and cats available for adoption please visit our PetRescue page here. Help us continue saving kittens and cats in need by donating to our rescue group here.
